Doubt & Dreams
Some tips to help you shut off the doubt in your dreams:Sharing a piece of motivation that will help you pull through any difficult times you have during the work-week or life, to be honest.
+ If you are doubting yourself today but have a dream burning inside of you, talk yourself out of that fear. You’ve already got what a lot of people never have; a dream, a goal, an idea. Here’s how:
- Take 5 minutes to re-focus your thoughts. Take a walk and think about your purpose. What’s your purpose with this “Goal” of yours? Find the purpose, find the WHY this is what will keep you going.
- Set mini goals for yourself. Sometimes it daunting to think about the ultimate goal and that’s what scares us but remember goals are long-term plans. Sit down and write out mini, monthly goals than in 1 year, 2 years, 3 years from now, will lead you to that ultimate goal. By setting small goals, you will feel like you are heading in the right direction every month. The mind is our biggest supporter, we have to learn how to deal with it.
- You have got to believe in your goal. It shouldn’t be a thought of, “oh if I fail, at least I tried” because by thinking that you are already failing. Failing is not bad (trust me, I’ve done that) but you HAVE TO truly believe and act like you already have achieved your goal. YOU are the first person you have to convince of your goal, idea, product, whatever it is you want. If you don’t believe in it, no one else will.
+ AND if you fail, pull yourself together and keep going. 1 failure doesn’t determine your life, just like 1 bad relationship doesn’t determine your next. It’s part of life and it’s up to us to learn from it.
