Ever feel like maintaining your skincare regime will break the bank? I have a true love for skincare (I’ve said this a million times, see here & here) and get immersed in raging products which are normally expensive. Sometimes though… I call for simpler things; and that time is now.
I haven’t bought an expensive lotion or face cream in about 5 months or so… as luxurious as they make me feel (and they do work), I needed a break. Back to basics with a couple of skincare products as essentials for my everyday morning and night routine.
- The Noxzema® Classic Clean Original Deep Cleansing Cream, I use it at night for washing my face because it has the smell of fresh eucalyptus so it’s like a relaxing ritual before heading to bed.
- The PONDS Dry Skin Cream is thick and smooth at the same time. I’ve been using it in the morning and night and it’s great because I don’t feel dry as the day progresses nor in the morning when I wake up.
- St. Ives® Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, I use twice a week to get rid of all those impurities we collect on our skin from the day to day. Usually, I scrub at night as my skin turns a bit red from the scrubbing.
- And Simple® Cleansing Facial Wipes, save my life after the gym or after working an event in the Miami heat! I sweat a lot on my face so it’s great to have these wipes handy, avoiding dirty hands or clothes on the face.
What I love about these products is that they are extremely affordable, they last for a while and I can shop them online (or at the store) at Walmart and have them in my beauty cabinet the next morning. SO easy!!
