Last Friday after work, my sister and I were headed to the mall to exchange some gifts that weren’t her size but we were a little hungry and sleepy so we decided to stop by a local coffee shop by our house – Roasting Buddies. My sister is obsessed with the best coffee shops so we are always visiting new ones. If you live in Broward County by Pembroke Pines, Weston or Davie, Roasting Buddies is about 15 minutes away and you will have amazing coffee!
We both had a macchiato and a caprese salad. Mine came with quinoa and Andre’s came with a baguette. Then, we headed to the mall and to be honest it was a little scary because this was right after the shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport and the mall was full of army soldiers. It’s scary to think that anything can happen when you are with your family and loved ones having fun. Imagine those people coming back from vacation and having to go thru such a horrible experience. Since we live close to Fort Lauderdale, it is always our airport of choice and to think that it could have been use there picking up our luggage, simply scares me. I hope everyone reading this is safe and with their families.
