My Go-To Pregnancy Supplements to Keep me Healthy & Energized

Best Pregnancy Supplements: My Go-To Pregnancy Supplements to Keep me Healthy & Energized

Let’s talk about my go-to pregnancy supplements! Pregnancy is such an exciting time, but it also comes with so many questions. Am I giving my baby everything they need? Is my body getting the right nutrients? I’ve been super mindful about what I take during pregnancy, and I wanted to share the supplements that have been helping me feel my best.

I’m not a doctor, so always check with your healthcare provider before adding anything new to your routine. But if you’re curious about what’s been working for me, here it is!

Prenatal Vitamins

I started taking my prenatal vitamins about two weeks before I found out I was pregnant, and I’m so glad I did. Some prenatal can make you nauseous, but I’ve had no issues with mine! I take them every morning with a glass of water (sometimes with my greens), and so far, my blood work has been great.

Magnesium Complex

One thing I was NOT expecting? The cramps. Around my hips, mostly at night—so painful! They kept waking me up until I started taking Magnesium Complex. I only take one capsule a day, and while I still wake up sometimes, the cramps are way more manageable. Stretching and light movement help too, but this supplement has made a big difference.

Daily Greens

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I swear by my daily greens. It’s basically an all-in-one: fruits, veggies, probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes—all the good stuff in one drink!

I’ll be honest, I don’t eat enough veggies, so this supplement helps me cover my bases. Plus, it has a collagen builder with hyaluronic acid, which is great for skin, hair, and nails. I’ve been drinking it every day since before pregnancy, and I love it!

Protein (That’s More Than Just Protein)

I love a good protein shake, but this one is a full meal replacement that keeps me full and energized. It has everything I need: all essential amino acids, healthy fats from avocado oil, and fiber to help with digestion.

THE BREAKDOWN:

✔ 24g of protein

✔ Only 11g of carbs

✔ Healthy fats that help with satiety

I usually have one first thing in the morning (just mixed with water) and another in the afternoon as a full shake with ice, fruit, and sometimes almond butter. It also helps with my chocolate cravings!

Matcha (My New Favorite!)

I was never a matcha fan. It always tasted too grassy for me. But recently, I found a new matcha with MCT oil, and it’s SO good.

I love drinking it in the morning or early afternoon when I need an energy boost. It has 30mg of caffeine, which is perfect since pregnant women should keep caffeine under 200mg per day. Plus, MCT oil is great for brain function, so it helps with focus and clarity.
