For me, Christmas time is the most beautiful time of the year. Although I’m in Miami and there’s no snow or any sign of winter for that matter, the lights, the pumpkin spice late, the hot cocoa and just the overall atmosphere is amazing. So, how do I get ready for Christmas? Aside from decorating the home (which I will show on the blog next week!), I wear Christmas pajamas and socks! This cute hat I’m wearing is part of the home decorations but it looks cute; right?

And for those of you who can’t stay in pajamas all day long and have to get a bit more dressed up, why not put on some yogas that look like dress pants? It’s the best of both worlds!

Getting ready Christmas involves a good book and warm coffee as well. Right now I’m still reading Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg; it’s taking me forever to read it but it’s totally my fault – the book is great! You should get a copy 🙂 I think the best way to get ready for Christmas though, aside from decorations and beautiful pajamas and socks is to remember that we are fortunate to be alive and to have the opportunity to share special moments with our family.
