Health and fitness is one of those things you wish you loved. New Years start with strict goals for ourselves like: No fried food, drink more water, workout 5 days a week, no alcohol drinking during the week. WHO are we kidding? Fortunately, I found out it’s all about balance (yes! balance). Started off the year in Cancun & committed myself to a workout routine that consisted of 25 minute workouts, 5 days a week (also known as T-25).
The workout routines are high intensity which makes working out more fun and fast (two very important characteristics) but, soon realized that waking up extra early every day before work was too much for me. The solution? I mix two T-25 workouts per day, 3 times a week and normally exercise after-work or during the weekend.
Having been following this routine for around 10 weeks, it’s become part of my life. Health and fitness is a journey not a destination so remember to take small steps towards your goals so that it blends into your lifestyle and doesn’t become a hassle – this is when you will notice physical and emotional change.
