I go to the gym with one of my best friends after work so when she has date night with her boyfriend or I have date night with mine… we kind of leave the gym behind! Family, love, friends first! 

I have never been one to drink protein shakes after a workout because I always thought they would make me breakout and blow me up but since I go to the gym in Downtown Miami and my commute home is about an hour long, I was getting reallly hungry on my way home. My friend drinks protein shakes after weight training, which is what we do once a week and she recommended I start using “organic” protein.

Organic chocolate protein powder has actually been a good choice for me! It feels me up, reduces my cravings for sweets, I don’t look like a balloon and I don’t breakout more often than before :)!  For my protein shake, I use: 1 banana, 1/2 an apple, Silk almond milk, 1/2 a lime (this is something new I added because I heard it was good to always have some citrus in your drink and it actually makes the other flavors in your drink to come out a bit more; try it!) and chocolate protein powder (1/2 scoop).
